NWO presents Puccini’s Madama Butterfly

Anne Williams-King (Director of North Wales Opera) travelled the globe singing the title role in this opera to great acclaim and has directed a beautifully traditional portrayal of this opera. It takes a heart of stone not to be moved by the great tragedy of this story, which is so enriched by the composition. Everyone will have heard the humming chorus and the “ Un bel di” (One fine day). Like many of its class, this opera can be expressed in a few sentences which allow you to sit back and enjoy the drama as it unfolds.
