Book Tickets North Wales Opera returns to its Liverpool ‘home’ to present Verdi’s Aïda. This timeless opera of love, loyalty and spectacle. Like many of its class, this opera can be expressed in a few sentences and knowing the plot will allow you to sit back and allow the drama to unfold. Under the proven leadership and artistry of international soprano Anne Williams-King and her team, they are excited to bring this opera to life. “Thank you, thank you and thank you so much for bringing North Wales Opera to Liverpool once more. It was great! The cast, the orchestra, the acting, the emotion. All your hard work paid off with the performance given. To bring it to the “most beautiful little theatre in the world” as quoted by Charles Dickens. I know how much effort and energy you put into it, and we just want you to know that those we talked to that were there, were bowled over and appreciated the performance immensely.” – Recent Review A great introduction to this work by Opera Australia can be found here: Anne Williams-King Director Andrew Charity Musical Director Ensemble SY1 Alex Postlethwaite Ensemble Leader This opera will be performed in its original language and there will be no sur/subtitles displayed.
